This kingpin has models for AAR (American Association of Railroads) applications, and also for non-AAR applications.
AAR models, when properly installed, meet or exceed the performance requirements of the America Association of Railroads (AAR) standard M-931, Truck and Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA), and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
Non-AAR models when properly installed, meet or exceed the performance requirements of the Truck and Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA), and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
