AAR models, when properly installed, meet or exceed the performance requirements of the America Association of Railroads (AAR) standard M-931, Truck and Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA), and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
Non-AAR models when properly installed, meet or exceed the performance requirements of the Truck and Trailer Manufacturers Association (TTMA), and the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

Material: SAE - AISI 8630H Alloy Steel
AAR - AISI 4320H and 4718H
Hardness: SAE - 302-363 BHN
AAR - 380-420 BHN
